Actress Zarine Khan has revealed of being approached to be a part of author-turned director Daniel Silva’s Chimera,but she is still brooding overthe offer.” I have been offered thefilm but I am thinking aboutit,” Zarine told IANS on thesidelines of an event in NewDelhi.”It is a thriller calledChimera opposite Billy Zane. Ihave read the script but I amstill thinking about it,” sheadded.
Chimera is said to be basedon Silva’s bestselling novel TheFallen Angel. Rumours wereearlier abuzz that Zarine hasbeen offered the film, but theactress preferred being tightlippedabout it.Ever since Zarine made herBollywood debut with 2010film Veer, she has chosen aslow and steady path to carve aniche for herself in the filmindustry. The 28-year-old, whowas last seen in Sajid Khan’sHousefull 2, says she believes inquality of work rather thanquantity.”I really don’t want to be inthe race of newcomers, whoare just running after the projects.
It’s not that I haven’t beenoffered films. I have beenoffered a lot of films afterHousefull 2, but I want to takemy time and do quality workrather than quantity. Thoughwould take time but I wouldlike to follow it,” she said.
